Cell Culture

For culture of mammalian cells (CHO, HEK, HeLa, etc.) and insect cells (Sf9, HiFive, etc.), INFORS HT offers a range of equipment to accommodate containers from the microtitre plate or shaker flask scale to several hundred litres, all fully optimised for sterile and reproducible processes.

INFORS HT provides options for batch, fed-batch and perfusion cultivation strategies in single-use and reusable systems. Incubation shakers and bench-top cell bioreactors could be used for culture containers from 10 mL up to 10 L cultivation volume. For scale-up, development or production processes from small scale e.g. 5 L up to 500 L, automatically controlled stirred tank bioreactors are recommended for best results.

Equipment qualification for process validation, e.g. for GMP and PAT is always an option for both incubation shakers and bioreactors.

INFORS HT is the specialist regarding options and solutions for optimisation of shakers and bioreactors, e.g. validation, decontamination, ShakerBag option or the darkening/ illumination of the Multitron Cell incubation shaker. Standard or customised cell bioreactors are available for a range of applications, with the option for mobile CIP.
