Product Description Techfors

The Techfors offers you all the flexibility you need when it comes to the development and production of pilot and production-scale bioprocesses with a total volume of 20 to 750 L. The Techfors is designed so that batch, fed-batch and continuous cultivation strategies such as chemostat or perfusion processes can be carried out or further developed at the highest level.

The Techfors is made at our plant in Switzerland to cater specifically for your requirements and is designed for the demands of cell and bacterial cultures.

Needless to say, the Techfors complies with FDA requirements and is perfectly suitable for a GMP environment. We are also happy to qualify your Techfors bioreactor as an optional extra.

The Techfors can be sterilised (SIP) and cleaned (CIP) in situ. The CIP option is either permanently installed or available as a mobile CIP unit, the INFORS HT TechCIP.

We have been building the Techfors for our customers over a long period of time, during which we have continually improved it. Certain unique components offer our customers such great advantages that they have become accepted as punctuated equilibrium and are now used in every Techfors. Apart from the flexible design of the Techfors, you also benefit from special and unique components that give you and your bioprocess a head start on your competitors.

The INFORS HT instrumentation cabinet includes many input and output connections and controls as standard. This means that you can subsequently develop your process with ease and with no hidden costs. The byword is "Continuous Improvement".
With no long run-in periods, you can gain time by getting started with your bioprocesses straightaway. We have taken time to develop the system just for you and have worked with psychologists, users and usability experts to develop a user interface that puts all its predecessors in the shade.
Simplified operations scheduling and cover. We use the same user interface all the way from microreactors with a working volume of 0.2 L to production-scale reactors, which greatly simplifies scale-up and safe operation by all employees.
An immediate overview – in situ and online – is available at all times. The Techfors touch screen gives you an in situ overview of all process parameters at any time. In addition to this, the OPC-XML server and Iris software provide the option of remote access and email alerts.
High-precision pumps for accurate process control and optimum security. The Techfors is prepared for 5 integrated pumps, with the option of connecting additional ones.
Precise measurement of the weight of the reactor vessel thanks to central vessel fixing point
Splash-proof control cabinet and touch screen

The Techfors offers virtually unlimited options and ideal conditions for almost any bioprocess. A variety of stirrers, gas-injection strategies, vessel configurations, additional sensors, analysers and pumps can be specified.

The Techfors is supplied in a bacterial or cell culture version, depending on requirements.
