• Multitron Cell
  Cultivation of mammalian and insect cells demands special treatment. The Multitron Cell was created as an incubator shaker system, to meet these specific requirements while still providing all the benefits of the Multitron family. The new version provides even more benefits such as hygienic humidification and an antimicrobial surface.
  
  Compared to static CO₂ incubators, the Multitron Cell provides better growth of suspended cells due to the gentle mixing. In addition, the cells will adapt themselves earlier to mechanical mixing. This may lead to a significant reduction of lag-phase if the shaken suspension is used as a starter culture for a stirred tank reactor.
• Microtron
  The production and testing of large numbers of clones or replicates in microtiter or deep well plates is a growing application for incubator shakers. The Microtron is especially optimised for incubation of large numbers of microtitre plates and features a small shaking throw in combination with a high shaking speed. Options for humidification and dedicated trays provide for maximum capacity with minimal losses due to evaporation.
• Thermotron
  The value of thermophillic organisms for research and commercial processes in biotechnology is well recognised, Finding equipment made specifically for their cultivation is not so common. Thermotron is a version of the Multitron incubator shaker with all its generic advantages coupled with reliable, high-temperature operation up to 95°C.
• Multitron 2
  This is the foundation of the whole family and represents the maximum flexibility for upgrades and options. Key features such as high capacity, stacking up to 3 units, the downwards-opening door and automatic tray release mechanism for safe, easy handling define the basic system. A wide range of major options for cooling, lighting, humidity and CO₂ control can be added along with special capabilities such as analogue outputs and an external temperature sensor. The Multitron can be fully qualified as part of a validation procedure.
