Product Description ShakerWeb Software
In short: ShakerWeb is an easy-to-handle web applet for remote display of data and trends as well as remote control of Multitron incubation shakers. A web applet is a software that is not installed on a PC, but running on a hardware converter. This means that it is not necessary to place a dedicated PC next to a Multitron just to record the data – a network access point in accessible range (=up to 100 m) is entirely sufficient. The hardware converter is simply plugged into the Multitron and connected to the in-house network via an Ethernet cable – job done!
Now the data can be visualised on any PC – e.g. your PC on your writing desk – without the need for installing a software. Additionally, access to the data through the internet is possible. The only requirement is that the PC has a web browser to visualise the ShakerWeb data.
In the “Trends” view, the historic data of up to three stacked Multitron can now be viewed. On top of this, a direct remote access is possible: On/off buttons and slider bars for changing setpoints permit an intuitive and easy remote control.
If multiple setpoint changes should occur following a defined time pattern, the programming window permits easy configuration of commands. Frequently used sequences can be saved and re-loaded.
This way, a temperature profile for automated incubation over the weekend can be edited very comfortably: Start your bacterial cultures on Friday at 16°C and 70 rpm. Then, load the program for increasing the setpoints (e.g. to 37°C and 250 rpm on Sunday) – this way, you can take your mature cultures out of the Multitron on Monday morning and immediately start with your work – e.g. a plasmid preparation.
Due to the trends display in ShakerWeb and the possibility to archive data, you can always verify that your profiles worked exactly the way they were supposed to.
